Lighthouse Fertility & Pregnancy Support

Hi, I'm Jen. I'm an IVF mum to two little boys and a former adoption social worker. After having my second son I decided to change careers and set up a business that I feel very passionately about. Lighthouse Fertility and Pregnancy Support is a service aimed at supporting women who are experiencing infertility, or who are pregnant following infertility or loss.

The emotional impact of infertility is huge, but still remains a taboo subject. There is little support available to those going through it, and it can be an extremely isolating, overwhelming and stressful experience. Even if pregnancy is achieved the grief and trauma of infertility can have a lasting effect and can impact on wellbeing and perinatal mental health. Pregnancy after infertility is often fraught with anxiety and stress – but it doesn't have to be this way.

My business centres on the importance of having a supportive relationship with someone who really gets how hard it is, and having a safe space to explore how you're really feeling. Combining emotional support and practical techniques I aim to reduce feelings of anxiety, isolation and overwhelm, improve wellbeing, and help people take back some feelings of control over their lives.

I offer individual and group support, and am about to train in hypnobirthing so I can offer this to people who are pregnant following infertility or loss.
