I've always had a passion for sewing ever since I was a little girl, I use to make dolls clothes out of my old clothes, so even then, I was being sustainable!

I started yoyo children's wear in 2010 and I decided I wanted make kids clothes that were a little but different from what was already available. I'd been to college after leaving school to learn how to draft patterns so I'm now able to design, draft my own patterns and sew something unique and as these are my pattern designs and not available to purchase I think it just gives my brand an exclusive edge.

My focus is on colourful, retro inspired children's clothing using fun and funky fabrics. I'm also focused on being ethical and sustainable, while I still have a few poly/cotton fabrics in stock, the fabrics I now buy are all GOTS certified and OEKO-TEX certified.

My garments are made to last, they wash and wear well so they can be handed down or passed on to friends. I make my dresses, shirts and dungarees/rompers with growing room, dresses and shirts will be a little longer than the norm with the dresses being used as tops when they do get a little short, dungarees/rompers have turned up hems that can be let down as the child grows. The buttons can also be moved to add a little length and are made roomy so a t-shirt or jumper can be worn underneath.

I've also moved into accessories so that the big and small off cuts of fabric can be utilised, I'm very proud of this as only the tiniest amount of fabric actually ends up in the bin!
